Saw the Tamil version of the movie today. I finally understood some of the dialogues that I jumped through in Hindi. And once I understood the dialogues, liked Hindi better. Abhishek Bachan did a wonderful job in Hindi, which am not sure if Vikram was able to reproduce in Tamil. Prithviraj did a good job as the villainous RamanJ. Songs felt much better in Hindi except "Usure pokuthe", which was as good as "Behene De".
So basically, Tamil version is better for understanding the story, but character "Raavan" was better in Hindi. Songs sounded better in Hindi than Tamil.
After Thought : Seethayude Agni Pareeksha ennu parayunnath Seetaye mathramalla Raavanneyum apamaanikkunnath pole alle? Athu pole Shoorpanakayude mookkum mulayum chethi ennu parayunnath symbolic aayano raamayanathil udhesichath ennu chintippikkunnu ee Film.
P.S: I am not sure if watching Hindi first affected my review in any way. It's up to you to make their own assumptions.
